Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre has been delighting audiences on Broadway since 2003. Located on 222 West 51st Street in the Theater District in Midtown Manhattan, the Gershwin Theatre is named after the Tony Award winning brothers, composer George Gershwin and lyricist Ira Gershwin. The entrance can be accessed from the south side of 51st Street or the north side of 50th Street, and it is located near Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Columbus Circle, Times Square, and more restaurants than you could eat at in a month.
So whether you want to eat before or after the show, want a nice sit-down meal with your family, or want a quick slice of pizza on the go, we’ve got you covered. Most theaters open their doors about a half hour before the performance begins, and be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to collect your tickets, find your seats, or use the restroom. If you’re eating before the show, remember to tell your waiter when your show starts. Restaurants in the neighborhood are very used to Broadway theatre curtain times, and they’ll be sure to get you fed and on your way!
