Broadway Week is an annual tradition for locals and visitors alike, a chance to get 2-for-1 tickets to even the most popular Broadway shows. In this article, we’ll tell you how Broadway Week works and other ways to get cheap tickets, as well as information about programs like NYC Restaurant Week and NYC Must-See Week, which offers discounts to museums and other attractions.

What’s New for Broadway Week 2024

Broadway Week is always a very popular time for New York theater lovers. It offers a chance to see some of Broadway’s most popular shows at a steep discount, and it’s a chance to celebrate all things theater. In 2024, Broadway Week returns September 3 to 15th. Simply enter promo code BWYWKF24 when purchasing tickets to get 2-for-1 tickets. Or if you want upgraded seats, use code BWYUPF24. This year 23 shows are participating, including long-running hits like The Book of Mormon and Wicked and newer shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Stereophonic, and The Notebook. Get tickets while you can, because this offer can sell out!

Broadway Shows Participating in 2024 NYC Broadway Week

Twenty-three shows are participating this year! Job, The Book of Mormon, Six, Aladdin, Moulin Rouge, Once Upon a Mattress, The Roommate, Suffs, Wicked, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Hills of California, Hell’s Kitchen, Stereophonic, Hamilton, The Notebook, Hadestown, & Juliet, The Great Gatsby, Back to the Future, Water for Elephants, MJ the Musical, Chicago, and The Lion King are all offering 2-for-1 tickets between September 3 and September 15, 2024. This list includes 10 Tony Award Winners, 3 plays, and 2 kid-friendly Disney classic (Aladdin and The Lion King).

NYC Broadway Week

Broadway Week runs twice a year in New York City and offers 2 for 1 ticket deals for many Broadway shows. There is also an off-Broadway week, which gives discounts for off-Broadway shows. The names are a bit of a happy misnomer as the discounts actually last for several weeks. And NYC Off-Broadway Week will run from September 30 to October 13, 2024.

NYC Restaurant Week

Another popular biannual program is Restaurant Week (which also runs for longer than a week), when participating restaurants – including many in the theater district – offer special menus at a discount price. Specific dates vary each year.

NYC Must-See Week

NYC Must-See Week offers 2-for-1 tickets to museums and attractions like Madame Tussauds, the Bronx Zoo, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, One World Observatory, Empire State Building, and many many more. Specific dates vary each year.
